Who is Craig, and why does he have a list?
Craig Newmark started an e-mail list in 1995 about things happening in San Francisco California. Since then, his list has become the ultimate online classified listing.
Of the top 10 websites in the world, ranked by number of page views, most have 10,000 plus employees. Disney has 130,000. On the other hand, Craigslist.org has 23. No, not 23,000…23 people. It is currently ranking number 7 in the world.
The classified listings are broken down by city. While it is possible to change which city you’re viewing, most people using Craigslist want local information.

Woot!
The word woot has a colorful little history. However, today we’re talking about the online retailer. They sell one different item every day, and they sell it until it’s gone. Sometimes their items are interesting, sometimes not, but almost always a really good deal.
If you check out the site and like the concept, you can follow them on Twitter. They send out the item of the day, but more importantly they send out a last call Tweet to let you know when they’re almost out of something. Because once they’re out, they’re out.
